The Thread Killer

I love shoving the rebar on threads started by leftist myrmidons who tuck tail and run, thereby killing their puny post.

Example One:

In a thread about Laura Bush the original poster claimed to have seen the First Lady interviewed recently and she was reported to have said that she will be glad to get her husband back and move to their home state of Texas.

The OP then goes to follow up on Mrs. Bush comment that GWB “… leaves office with a clean desk…”

The Enabler then comments about two wars, thousands of lives lost, the worst economy in decades, is hardly a “clean desk”.

Talk about low handing fruit. I killed the thread with:

I think she may have been referring not leaving any semen stains as Klinton was known to have done while he was in the oval office.

That, or that he was not impeached like Klinton.

“To All The ‘Save Me/Feed Me’s, & Enablers!

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.

I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2009, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great.

Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere . Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wish.

To My Conservative Friends:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Any Enablers or ‘Save Me/Feed Me’s’ on Twitter?

That was the title of my thread as I was seeking to be able to enjoy sharing ‘Tweets’with people who have a different worldview than I.

Before long, emotivism rears its ugly head in the form of the following:

“Every time you write “Save Me/Feed Me’s” (aside from the grammatical error), I think of two things:

1) Your callous disregard for people in need, and

2) The oftentime expressed “Me, Me, Me!” sentiment of too many on the Right.

But perhaps you think you’re being “funny”.”

My reply was to address each point:

“Every time you write “Save Me/Feed Me’s” (aside from the grammatical error), I think of two things:

1) Your callous disregard for people in need, and…”

Don’t misunderstand what I mean by ‘Save Me/Feed Me’s’. That term came from the quote I have on my profile and it is directed at those who believe the gub’ment should take care of them from cradle to grave.

I have a great deal of compassion for people in need and I give more than 10% of my gross income to that. Much more so than such ‘magnanimous’ Enablers like Joe Biden and Barack Obama.

I have been active with the Atlanta Union Mission, Angel Tree and a local outreach program for children in rural areas. I do not say that list my ‘compassion resume’ but don’t believe for one second that if someone does not want money filtered through the overwhelmingly inept federal gub’ment to give people generation after generation that they are not compassionate.

“2) The oftentime expressed “Me, Me, Me!” sentiment of too many on the Right.”

Again, have you looked at any of the research of who actually gives of their OWN money? Conservatives or Liberals? You may need some help getting that hook out of your mouth when you do.

“But perhaps you think you’re being “funny”.

Yea, I think I am being maybe just a little bit funny.

Blake

What usually happens when the rebar of reason is shoved into emotivism’s tricycle spokes, the thread shuts down.

The enabler moved on to other threads not able to refute that there are other/better ways to help people than to redistribute income through the gub’ment.

Enabler Waves The White Flag As Opposed To Defending Argument

Here is an exchange between myself and either a ‘Save Me/Feed Me’ or an Enabler trying to counter.

It is a textbook example of how, when challenged to defend their emotivism, so often they are able to dispel words, but nothing closely resembling a cogent thought.

After I made my original post (See below) we had another ‘Save Me/Feed Me’ or Enabler post a ‘snoozing’ smiley face.  (Save Me/Feed Me’s and enablers love to use smiley icons to defend their positions.)

My response to the smiley was:

BM:  That is quite a rebuttal.  (What’s the matter? Too many three syllable words?)

Then here come JG to the rescue with this amazing offering.  What follows is the result of our exchange:

JG:  That was all the rebuttal the original post warranted.  It was nonsense.

BM:  How was it nonsense?

JG: How was it NOT nonsense? It showed a complete failure to grasp even the basic concepts of this issue.

BM: Enlighten us on the basic concepts of the issue.

JG: I’d scarcely know where to begin. Why don’t you go take an Econ 101 course and then maybe we can talk.

BM: In other words, your lack of critical thinking skills have failed you once again. You are confusing emotivism for reason.

JG:  No, it is just that it is pointless to discuss calculus with someone who can’t do basic math.

BM: “No, it is just that it is pointless to discuss calculus with someone who can’t do basic math.” = waving white flag.

Thanks JG for your weak, poor defense of your position and for yet another example of the Enabler mindset.

No Gub’ment Cheese For The Big Three

Let them go bankrupt like Delta Airlines did.  How in the world were they able to stay in business without h’ep from the gub’ment????

Nothing highlights the herd mentality of the ‘Save Me/Feed Me’s’ and their Enablers (Socialists, Liberals, ‘Progressives’ and Democrats) than their love for unions. Which follows their love for ‘groups’.

[You rarely hear the left talk about the individual.  You hear them all the time speaking of 'The poor', 'working families', 'the rich', etc.]

The big three should declare bankruptcy, free themselves of their union contracts and tell the workes, We have ZERO jobs at $35 per hour but we have tens of thousands at $22 per hour.

Sadly, the Unions will get their cheese…they just have to wait three more weeks until the Enabler Party has more votes.

Not Just Change…But Change We Can Believe In

When the Obama myrmidons best response for their support of ‘The Chosen One’ was that he was for change, I was quick to remind them that his actual ‘tag line’ was ‘Change We Can Believe In’, which is much different than just regular ole change.

On the IMDB (www.imdb.com) Politics board, someone posted a thread commenting on how Obama’s adminstartion is already looking very ‘Clintonesque’.  One Enabler responed with “The Clinton administration was a success though.”

Depends on one’s definition of success, here are a few ‘highlights’ from the successful Klinton administration

- The only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance

- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation

- Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify

- First president sued for sexual harassment

- First first lady to come under criminal investigation

- Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case

- First president to establish a legal defense fund

- First president to be held in contempt of court

- First president to be credibly accused of rape

- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions

- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad

- First president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a state court

- Number of Starr-Ray investigation convictions or guilty pleas (including one governor, one associate attorney general and two Clinton business partners): 14

- Number of Clinton Cabinet members who came under criminal investigation: 5

- GOP seats gained in House since Clinton became president: 45

- GOP seats gained in Senate since Clinton became president: 7

- GOP governorships gained since Clinton became president: 11

- GOP state legislative seats gained since Clinton became president: 1,254
as of 1998

- State legislatures taken over by GOP since Clinton became president: 9

- Democrat officeholders who have become Republicans since Clinton became
president: 439 as of 1998

One only can hope that Obama’s administration is as successful.

This blog is dedicated to the brave citizens who still value liberty over security and is for sticking it in the eye of the ‘Save Me/Feed Me’s’ (Those who believe the gub’ment owes them a living) and their Enablers (Democrats, Liberals, ‘Progressives’ and Socialists)

A big shout out to all the ‘Save Me/Feed Me’s’ and Enablers on the IMDB who whine to admins every time they are befuddled by logic and have posts deleted.

An even bigger shout out to RandomSample who once posted that ALL of the Bush Administration has ties to BIG OIL and then posted a link to support his claim.   I used that very same link to prove him to be a documented liar and he then went into hiding for months.

Random, I hope this finds you well and that you have not yet worn out that ‘ignore’ button.

Check back for my take on things as president-elect ‘Wealth Distributor’ heads toward the White House that the gutless GOP handed to him by whoring themselves to big spending.

It is going to be an interesting 2009!
